Our Mission:

To honor, recognize, celebrate each WKS Alumni who is serving or has served in our armed forces to protect our country and democracy.

This is an ongoing work in process.

What to do now:  Add your Name to the Recognition roster by emailing  veterans@wksalumni.com or call Tim
at (218) 220-1199.

Include the following in your message:

1. Full Name
2. WKS Class (you do not have to be a graduate, years attended) “Once a Mariner, Always a Mariner”
3. Branch of Service
4. Years of Service
5. Rank
6. Where you served

What will happen:

1. A spreadsheet of received data will be maintained and updated as information is received.
2. Veterans recognition information will be posted on the WKS Alumni Association website
3. There has been interest expressed in the creation of a WKS Veterans Facebook page. This would require 2 administrators, a FB page developer/manager and would operate independently of the WKS Alumni Facebook page.

Next task: Getting the word out to all that identify with WKS in Silver Bay, Mn that may want to be included in the recognition document. There are folks out there that are offline and will not read this announcement. As an alternative to email, veteran information can be mailed to:
