About this mural:

This may be a bit challenging as it was so many years ago.  I truly don’t remember why I was chosen.  Maybe due to taking so many art classes -  just don’t remember.  My inspiration was from my love of the outdoors.  We were so lucky to grow up in such a beautiful area.  This was illustrated with an early north shore pioneer and wildlife.  A message could be:  we should take care of our natural resources.  Land, water and wildlife are depending on us.

I worked as a graphic designer/commercial artist for 14 years after I first left Silver Bay.  This was by far my favorite job.   Deb Georges - July, 2018
