About this mural: Sarianne (Harrison) and I both loved the movie "Nightmare before Christmas". That’s why we chose to paint that- it’s a movie from our childhood. We split the work 50/50 on that mural. Sarianne and I both were big into art, being teachers assistants for Jan Martinson. We were going to write the name on the mural, like on the movie cover- but the school said we could not put the word Christmas on the wall because of religious reasons. So we just left it without a title. However, anyone who has seen the movie and most kids from my generation know that movie based on the image. - Jamie Rannetsberger, May, 2020
